We can also help you prepare the following forms: Visa Petition, Adjustment of Status, Family Unity, Consular Processing, "V" Visa, TPS, and others. *** Minimal Fees *** ALERT!                              Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) Avoid deportation, be granted a work authorization . . . renewable every two (2) years if eligible.                         Beginning August 15, 2012 CIS will start to accept applications for "DACA;" to be eligible to receive "deferred action," individuals must: 1) Have come to the United States under the age of sixteen (16), 2) Have continuously resided in the United States for at least five (5) years preceding the date of this memorandum and are present in the United States on the date of this memorandum (06/15/12), 3) Currently be in school, have graduated from high school, have obtained a general education development (GED) certificate, or are honorably discharged veterans of the Coast Guard or Armed Forces of the United States, 4) Have not been convicted of a felony offense, a significant misdemeanor offense, multiple misdemeanor offenses, or otherwise pose a threat to national security or public safety, and 5) Be younger than thirty-one (31) years of age on June 15, 2012. Be sure to consult an attorney or immigration specialist before applying for citzenship! ********************************************************************************************************** Applicants must: - Be a lawful permanent resident (have a green card) for at least five (5) years; three(3) years if you are married to a U.S. citizen. - Be physically present in the U.S. for at least two and one-half (2 1/2) years; one and one-half (1 1/2) years if you are married to a U.S. citizen, and reside in the state in which you are applying for U.S. citizenship for at least three (3) months. - Be at least eighteen (18) years old.
